Hi,
I have a new 2025 MX-5 that received damage to the Rubber Beltline Molding behind the convertible top. Insurance will pay for the repair. The repair procedure requires the interior of the car from the shift knob to the trunk to be remove, including the convertible top, in order to replace the molding. The damage is limited to two small abrasions and a small divot of rubber which I believe I can repair with 3M adhesive. I am concerned the repair shop will never assemble the car to factory levels and the top might leak. Does any member have any experience removing and reinstalling a convertible top on a ND?
