Any recommendations for nose protection of 2006 MX5?

My 2016 came with plastic paint protection on the nose.
as it has only 18,000 km on it and it is very much winter yet it is sitting in my garage waiting for spring. It is a very popular option costing about $600 I’ll let you know if I’m not satisfied
