I know I'll get yell at but could not find a trhead on this topic but the black plastic wheel well coverings not really splash guards but they are
fastened with a plast screw inside a plastic flange that looks like a phillips screwdriver end. The question is how are these to be opened so I can remove the plast wheel well liner for cleaning. Now the car is 2003 so I'm sure they are not working like new but it seems to be a twist and should pop out. I have one or two open but not sure they opened that way, you almost have to get behid it and pry it open. The screw like does not thread into the plastic holder but it needs a quarter turn to let it pop open it seems but they are not popping open.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
